In bloom - by Megan

Sorry everyone.  I wasn't home to be able to post this. We'd like to welcome Megan Frost to the DT.  And I'm sure you will agree with me that she did an amazing job with her layout.  The following is in Megan's own words.

As soon as I saw the "Sweet Thread" paper line from Basic Grey I knew I needed it. The paper reminded me so much of the garden at my grandparents place in the country. The garden was always full of beautiful bloom flowers and a wooden swing set where my grandfather used to read to me. When I saw this paper I knew it was prefect for this layout. That pattern paper is from the Sweet Threads line and so are the paper embellishments, the card stock is from Cosmo Cricket Core'dinations line.

It's friday!!!! :) That means a card.  Shirley used the gorgeous papers from Basic Grey - Hello Luscious.  The gems in the upper corner are from Kaiser.  While you are checking out these wonderful products be sure to check the new arrivals at Scrapbook Star.  I'm sure you'll agree with me Shirley did a beautiful job on the coloring and I love how she pulled off the green on a girl card.  Well done Shirley :)  TFL and be sure to come back and see tomorrow's layout inspiration.

Hi everyone! Here is the first inspiration on Scrapbook Star's new blog. I am so excited that we are starting this new venture. For my card I used the 6x6 paper pad from Basic Grey - Out Of Print.  I mounted every patterned paper with Bazzill.  For the adhesive I used the Tombow adhesive on my card.
